It is a simple job — until it is not

TV mounting looks easy on video. Then you are holding a 75-inch TV, the stud finder is beeping at everything, the mount holes do not line up, and there is a bundle of cables hanging down the wall that was definitely not in the video. We mount TVs every day. It takes us about an hour, the TV is perfectly level, and you cannot see a single wire.

Professional mounting is about three things: safety (a 100-pound TV falling is no joke), looks (level, centered, clean), and wires (hidden, all of them). We do all three, every time, on any wall.

Any TV, any wall

We mount everything from small bedroom TVs to 98-inch giants. Above fireplaces, on concrete block walls (common in Florida), on drywall, on brick, on tile — each wall type needs the right anchors and technique, and we carry them all.

Above-fireplace mounting is our most requested tricky job. It looks fantastic and puts the TV at a height that can hurt your neck if done wrong. We use pull-down mounts that bring the TV to comfortable viewing height when in use and back up when not. We also check the heat — a working fireplace under a TV needs proper clearance and often a mantel shield.

Wires: gone

This is the part that separates a pro job from a DIY job. Every cable — power, HDMI, streaming stick, game console — runs inside the wall to a hidden outlet or media box behind the TV. What you see: a TV floating on the wall. What you do not see: anything else.

We install code-compliant in-wall power kits (not just dropping an extension cord through the drywall, which is a fire hazard and against code). On walls where in-wall runs are impossible — concrete block, exterior walls full of insulation — we use paintable wire channels that blend into the wall.

The right mount for the job

Fixed mounts hold the TV flat to the wall — cleanest look, lowest profile. Tilting mounts angle down slightly — good for TVs mounted a bit high. Full-motion mounts swing out and turn — perfect for corner installs, open floor plans, and watching from the kitchen. We recommend based on your room and viewing spots, and we only use mounts rated well above your TV's weight.

Soundbar and setup included

Most TV mounts pair with a soundbar — TV speakers point the wrong way and sound thin. We mount the soundbar with the TV (attached below it on full-motion mounts so it turns together), connect it properly, and set it up. We also connect your streaming devices, game consoles, and cable box, and make sure everything switches cleanly.

We finish by tuning the TV's picture. Out of the box, TVs ship in "torch mode" — oversaturated and harsh. We set the picture to the accurate mode for your room's light and turn off the motion smoothing that makes movies look weird. It takes ten minutes and makes a visible difference.

Before we arrive: a quick checklist

To make your install smooth, have these ready: the TV (unboxed is fine, we can unbox), the mount if you already bought one (if not, we bring quality mounts), and know which devices connect — cable box, streaming stick, game console, soundbar. Tell us the wall type if you know it (drywall, concrete block, brick, above a fireplace).

Clear the area around the install spot — move furniture a few feet back so we have working room. If the TV goes above a fireplace, make sure the mantel area is clear. That is it. We bring tools, hardware, cables, and everything else.

One thing that helps: think about viewing height. The center of the TV should sit roughly at eye level from your main seat. Above fireplaces this is not always possible — that is what pull-down mounts solve. We confirm height with you before drilling, every time.

Hiding the components too

A floating TV with a pile of boxes underneath ruins the effect. We hide components as part of the job: cable boxes and streaming devices mount behind the TV on slim brackets, game consoles go in a nearby cabinet with an infrared repeater so the remote still works through the door, and soundbars mount flush under the TV.

For the cleanest look, we install recessed media boxes behind the TV — power and HDMI connections hidden inside the wall cavity, everything plugged in out of sight. The TV hangs flat, nothing shows, and you still have easy access by lifting the TV off the mount. It is the detail that makes people ask "wait, where is everything?"

TVs in every room

Most of our mounting jobs are not one TV — they are three or four across the house. The living room TV on a full-motion mount. The bedroom TV on a tilting mount, high enough to see from bed. The patio TV in a weatherproof enclosure. The kids' playroom TV mounted high and out of reach.

We plan the whole house at once: consistent mounting heights, hidden wires everywhere, and one remote system that runs all of them. It costs less per TV than separate visits, and the result looks intentional instead of accumulated. During the visit, walk us through every room you are thinking about — we will give you an honest take on which mounts make sense where.

Outdoor and patio TVs

Florida living means outdoor TVs — by the pool, on the lanai, in the outdoor kitchen. Regular TVs die fast outside: humidity corrodes the electronics, sun washes out the screen and bakes the casing. We install true outdoor-rated TVs built for it: sealed against moisture, bright enough for daylight, and rated for our temperature swings.

Outdoor mounts get the same treatment: corrosion-resistant hardware, proper structural mounting to stand up to wind, and weatherproof wire runs. Paired with a couple of patio speakers, an outdoor TV turns the lanai into the second living room. If you already have an indoor TV outside under a cover, we will be honest about its lifespan — and show you the real solution.

Our process

Call or send the form and tell us the TV size and the wall. We schedule a visit — often within a few days. We mount the TV level and solid, hide every wire, connect and set up your devices, tune the picture, and clean up. Most installs take one to two hours. You get a TV that looks like it grew there.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does TV mounting cost?

It depends on the TV size, the wall type, and how much wire-hiding is involved — a straightforward drywall mount is simpler than an above-fireplace install on brick with a soundbar. Send the form or call with your TV size and wall type and we will give you a straight answer.

Can you mount a TV above my fireplace?

Yes — it is one of our most common jobs. We check heat clearance, use the right mount (often a pull-down mount for comfortable viewing height), and hide all wires. If the heat situation makes it a bad idea, we will tell you honestly.

Will you hide the cables?

Yes — every install includes wire concealment. Cables run inside the wall to hidden outlets, code-compliant. Where in-wall is impossible, we use paintable channels that blend in.

Can you mount on concrete block walls?

Yes. Florida homes have a lot of concrete block, and we mount on it regularly with the right anchors and technique. It takes the right tools — which is one reason to call a pro.

Do you install the soundbar too?

Yes. We mount and connect soundbars with the TV, including mounting the soundbar to full-motion TV mounts so they move together. We set up the audio connection properly and test it.

My TV is really big and heavy. Is that a problem?

No — we mount 85 and 98-inch TVs regularly. We use commercial-grade mounts rated well above the TV's weight, anchor to structure, and bring a second set of hands. Big TVs are exactly when you want a pro.
